AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic 0w30

AMSOIL recently revised the formulation of its Series 2000 0w30 and renamed it as the Signature Series Synthetic 0w30. Supplemented with a proprietary ashless antiwear system for improved heat and viscosity control and boasting a 10 percent increase in TBN (13.2), new Signature Series 0W-30 sets the standard for protection and performance.

This oil is recommended by AMSOIL for use in applications requiring GM Standard 4718M, including both the C5 and C6 Z06s.

I appreciate that Denny! If I didn't have two cases of the Series 2000 0w30 in the garage, I'd pick up a case of this new oil for my 06 CTS-V daily driver.

Interestly, on one of the few opportunities I had to talk to my wife while I was deployed, she said I had a customer (maybe you) who wanted to know if they should use the new 0w30. I told her there wasn't a new 0w30.

I got a big "I told you so" when I got home and found out that there was in fact a new 0w30.
