Hello just heard my dealer put took much oil in my 2009 z06 and is smoking. They did another oil change and tell me it is still smoking but will drive it until They burn off the oil. do you know what the oil needs to be burnt off of? They tell me I have nothing to worry about so why I'm I worried?

Norm, How r u, been a while, I know ur pretty knowledgable when it comes to r vettes, so I have a question 4 u, u know my c5 want to be (FRC)2000, well my frnt tires show wear on inside and I need an alignment, I was thinking of chg my wheels to either C5 ZO6 or C6 wheels they put tires on them, I saw a pr of 5 spoke C6 wheels in great shape that r rears 19x10 front 18x8.5, and he wants $100 a wheel. I love a chrome 5 spoke. I know there are many out there and some feel I should stick w c5 ZO6 wheel sizes. I have a diablo eliminator sport and have installed a mod tune on it and corsa pace car sport exh. Will have it dyno tuned before Sept, need to get in 12's

If you could see my piston in person then you would know that there isn't any metal shavings or pieces anywhere in that engine. They just melted, they're gone forever. There wasn't any sign of any metal anywhere. I feel confident about putting the engine back together the way it is right now.
