When did the C7 Z06 get a supercharger?

Just asking since I saw one this last weekend at a car show.

2015. The first C7 came out in 2014. The Z06 is generally introduced a year later from a new generation intro.

I missed that for some reason (probably old age). Was it an option or standard?

The next thing you know, a mid-engine Corvette will be made?

It was standard on the Z06.

The mid-motor C8 will be formally introduced on July 18th.

Great tech. What do you think the actual selling price will be?

As how they are discontinuing the C7 platform I would guess the base C8 should be affordable for most with probably a few thousand $ increase. GM won't want to price themselves out of the Corvette market.

Not sure the C8 will start below 60K as the base stingray is in that area now. I'm guessing around the low to mid 60s for the base C8 but time will tell.

Re: When did the C7 Z06 get a supercharger?

Corvette is still racing the older front engine car. I watched IMSA Mid-Ohio last weekend (via a DVR).

I would think that the new mid-engine car will be racing at about the same time as the new production car?

It could be a 2021 car? The 2010's are already in production.
