MSD Plug wires and the proper spark plug gap

I'm going to install new MSD plug wires and NGK TR55 plugs this weekend. The car is stock with the exception of a Blackwing/ air coupler and gutted pre-cats. Are these the best spark plugs to use, and with these light mods, what is the proper gap for the new plugs? Any suggestions for better plugs or are these the best to go with?

I'm using Beru plugs and MSD wires. Gap set at .050 for the Beru's.

Katech recommends using Champion plugs, not sure which #.
