Re: Mild 2 Wild Exhaust controller questions

Finally a voice of sanity. That's pretty much what I said in my post up there (without the nice video link) before he went off on a rant.

Do it or don't do it. It's your choice. I can't understand...

Re: Brake pad question

Muchos grassyarse. I got the shit scared out of me when I started to calculate the prices I was looking at and it was coming out at over $2,000 a set. I nearly puked. I bought this as a second car...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Actually I came to the forum to ask questions about the car I just bought (want the VIN number? It's a C6 Z though not a C5)

I tried to explain the difference in European tastes compared to...

Re: Mild 2 Wild Exhaust controller questions

I'm not dictating what you say. I'm saying you're showing your true colours by what you do say. Big difference but I guess English is difficult for you to understand.

There are no claims on the...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Nice. Now I'm a fool. Learn to speak and type before you start mouthing off at people. All you're doing is cementing the impression that Americans are ignorant loudmouths (I believe they're actually...

Re: Brake pad question

Thanks Terry.
I'll call them before I order.
Do you have idea what sort of price I should be paying?

Re: Mild 2 Wild Exhaust controller questions

1. What did the last suit you bought cost you? The last pair of shoes? Any toys you've bought for you kids? The exact same thing happens there and in most cases on a bigger scale. The middle men...

Re: Mild 2 Wild Exhaust controller questions

It just comes with them. I presumed that the garage door opener on the visor wasn't standard but I don't know if that's the case or not.

Re: Corvette = No Respect

I'm sorry you feel that way Mike.

Don't most people have Vettes as playtoys? Couldn't exactly be considered a hugely practical family car.

I'm not saying you anyone shouldn't compare it to Euro...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

And there's the reason you get no respect.

I never said the Corvette was a pig. I pointed out why other people (not me) give it less respect than exotics.
They are either plain wrong or are...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Sorry. I wasn't implying you or anyone else in particular. I was speaking in general.

I was looking at a ZR1 too but developed an Airplane passion when I moved over here and am trying to get a...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Actually that last post kinda hits the nail on the head.
Calling people jerkoffs for driving more expensive machinery is exactly the flipside of getting no respect.

True car lovers appreciate...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

+1000
If you like the interior then all is well but don't expect the car to be considered in the same league as the euro exotica. The Ford GT went a long waay to bridging the gap and got the respect...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Come on. You can't say that especially if you're driving any new model Audi.
Even the new Camaro, while it still uses terrible plastics, at least has a bit of an interesting look to it. The centre...

Re: Corvette = No Respect

Oooh. A can of worms.
As a European recently moved to Canada from Ireland and a lover of cars and not brands or origins of cars I feel I can shed a non-biased opinion on the topic (there are no...

Re: Mild 2 Wild Exhaust controller questions

I guess I'm alone in this then but I love it. It definitely makes a considerable difference. Is it installed correctly jub jub? Maybe it's different in each car??

I always turn it to normal before...

Brake pad question

Firstly hello all. This is my first post on here so bear with me if it's a stupid question. I did search first but didn't find the answer so apologies if I searched wrong.

I just bought a 2007 Z06...
