i have a z with 19/20 wheels..i'm having some trouble with making the correct decision on new tires..
currently i have
nitto invos
275/30/19 fronts 25.6 dia
305/25/20 rear 25.9 dia..
two...

thx's guys..drive um and enjoy um....at 64 still hav'n fun, but it is gettin' harder to get in and out of the Z,especially when its a 1/2 inch lower:lol:

yea boys, copy away..or, just buy it done when i'm ready to sell it..course i got the car exactly the way i want it for now...doesn't need anything..just did the drain/fill on the radiator, power...

sure..they are Apsis splashguards...go online...they make um specific for c5's..kinda pricey..i paid $400 for set....:bump:
saves the side of lower body..especially rear part near your rear brake...

just put on some new rotors (slotted & dimppled) with posi quiet pads..ceramic ..
turned out great and stops good again..quiet ,smooth,and low dust:yeadog:...

they are 19 ,20's champion motorsport wheels..see online site...they don't make um anymore..they made them a few yrs for c5's , very lightweight, forged...only drawback is rear wheels only a little...

i had a bad ebcm on my 01 z a few yrs back..dirt, rust and bad connectors..had to replace..dealer wanted about $1000 bucks..check forum and do search ..there is a place you can send your ebcm too ,...

yep-they outta come from the factory..they really do save the side of the car..especially at the rear brake duct area..where on my other Z and 01 it got totally sand blasted after about 50k miles.....

the Z will put down about that to the rear wheels, stock its a bigger v8, ford had to blow those yr mustangs to get any real power.....and remember its lighter than the stang...rear tranny , better...

yes , there is a gap..i've seen about an 1/8-1/4 inch on many c5's,. its the design..that's why its pretty easy to shoot a bead of silicon , up under that plastic strip..and it really helped on my...

like i showed above in the pic's..i raise the plastic pillar and the roof plastic..using like a kitchen knife..so i can squirt in a small bead of silicon...to me our cars are great , but $1200 to fix...

i had the same prob...water practically spays in when washing the car...put silicon on the roof area above door and down windshield pillar area...dry now...:bump:...
