Re: People, Zr-1 Is A Gift To The Z0-6!!!!!

Re: XM Radio - issue or not

On my C-5 Z06 I mounted the antenna under the right rear fender. I used a thin piece of sheet metal as large as I could fit for the metal "ground plane" to make the magnetic antenna work correctly.

Re: Replacement Brake Pads 02' Z06

I ran the Delco ceramics until I ran them at the track and got them really hot, it cooked the teflon backing off the pads.

I switched to a street and autocross compound from Porterfield the R-4S....

Re: Frequency of trans/diff fluid changes for tracked cars?

Well I'll have to say I'm estimating track time since I drive the car and wife runs it in another run group. But I have been running the same rotors for about 1 1/2 years and have run about 11 days...

Re: Stock 2002 dyno chart

The first place to go is a harness bar and 5 or 6 point harness to keep you in the seat. I had belt pass through inserts put in my seats so the belts could come over your shoulders correctly and make...

Re: Frequency of trans/diff fluid changes for tracked cars?

Denny,

I am running the same DRM ducts and Phoenix spindle mounts. I also have the DRM SS pistons. The R4 pads wear very well and do not wear the rotors. I can do 25-30 events before I change...

So I...

Re: Motive power bleeder or speed bleeders

I've used the speed bleeders for years. They have a plastic bleeder bag (like and IV bag) that you bleed into, so you can see the color change too.

The bag works great when you change brake pads,...

Adding graphics can add or reduce drag depending on the reflectivity.

As we all know drag increases with the square of the velocity.

The key factor is how shiney are the graphics? Because the...

Re: C6Z and Oil Starvation

It is only an issue when the high G forces are sustained for a long period of time like a very long sweeper.

With the C-5's we add an extra quart of oil for insurance when on the track.

My C-5...
