Yes, it is true. The time has come to part ways with my C5Z. So that Millennium Yellow beauty that stares you in the face every time you open this forum up in the header could be in YOUR driveway...

Re: 1 of 1

I would think if you have a car with 2 or 3 low production options, the chances of your car being 1 of 1 go up pretty quickly.
For example if you have three options that 250 cars or less received,...

Re: Spy Photos Show Best Look at Mid-Engine Corvette’s Supercar Shape

In a good way or a bad way? I think both the Z06 and ZR1 are way better at the front end than the Stingray - A.K.A. "The kid with braces" metal mouth grille.

I'm still hoping for a normally...

Re: Learning Curve

So that's two votes for GM to bring back a "Radio Delete" option. I drive for hours with nothing but the sound of the car and the feel of the wheel. The instant my wife gets behind the wheel the...

Re: Mystery box mounted to windshield

That's what the NTSB will be looking for at the scene of the crash. They can use it to determine if the driver still had their foot to the floor at the time of the crash or if they chickened out and...

Re: Moderator question

Facebook groups have taken the place of a lot of online forums as that is where the youngsters go for their "instant info" now-a-days. The downside is they suck for searching and so you get to see...

Re: Ron Fellows Corvette School

AC on? You must have had the windows up.

For a more authentic experience I recommend windows down with the heater on MAX. You'll help pull heat out of the engine, your feet will get cooked...

Re: The C7 Corvette ZR1 is Nearly Ready for its Big Debut

I would imagine with all the wing testing that has been done, if you don't opt for additional downforce the extra HP will translate simply to excessive wheel slip. However if you're adding several...

Looking for a Track Day - Indianapolis Road Course

Per the subject line, I'm looking for info on groups that run track days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on the road course. I'm likely looking for a 2018 date, or contact info for groups that...

Re: Pics of the Day from Vancouver Island BC

I had always wondered where the big marshmallows for S'mores came from, and now I know it is Canada. It is amazing what one can learn on this forum.

Re: Purchasing Z06 with 148000

I would agree with the previous posters. I bought my '03 Z for only a few thousand more than what that dealer is asking and that was 7 years ago and it had under 4,000 miles on it at the time. A...

Re: Mysterious Chevy Camaro Spied Testing for the First Time

Gotta love how they splash prototype vehicles all over the Internet that GM is trying to keep under wraps, but blur out the employees in the photos... "We care about privacy and the personal rights...

Re: Under 40 degrees

You are likely facing a couple issues. It will hard to find anything other than high performance summer tires in a 25 profile, specifically a true "winter" tire. However if you are flexible on the...

Re: Just Found this forum

I admit I am partial to the racing yellow, but that photo makes a good case for red. It really shows off the trim, scoops, aero bits, etc really well.

Re: WTB: New or Scrub Tires 295-305 35/18

Maybe there is a "tractor tuner" club out there putting 35/18s on their old two cylinder to give it that low look at get themselves some "field credit" with the locals? I know they do grass drags...

WTB: New or Scrub Tires 295-305 35/18

Hi - Looking to buy a pair of rear track day tires. They can be older stock you have sitting around or scrubs. Would prefer Toyo R888 but might consider others as well.

Re: Just me or is there a lot of C7 Z06s on the lots

I assume their sales numbers are for the model year (June 2015-June 2016) rather than the calendar year.

It seems reasonable to me that sales would be lower in the second half of the model year. ...

Re: Just me or is there a lot of C7 Z06s on the lots

Sales may have been down in June and July, but maybe that's because everyone who wanted a 2016 already bought one. Also some June production always ends up being part of the next model year. Some...

Looking for C5 bolt-in components for 5-pt harness
