The Majestic Glass Corvette Club hosted the all Corvette car show at the Anacortes Waterfront Festival on June 1, 2019. A record turnout (a friend said 280 cars) filled the sit to capacity with great sunburn weather for the event. Here are a few images from the event: It was great...

We have a compact 20 x 20 townhouse garage and wanted the interior to provide storage for 2 cars and the basics; beer fridge, hot water sink, TV/audio stuff, compressed air and plenty of light. Here 'tis: Most of the building materials including wall cabinets are from...

  7. 2002 Z06 Seats

    C5 Z06 - Pit Road
When I had mine done, I had the shop use the original seat covers, but I had them do new inserts (in bright blue) to improve the look. They also used firmer foam when overstuffing the bolsters on seat backs and seats. If you wanted more grip for track days, I would use Alcantara for the...

Take them to an upholstery shop and add more foam to the bolsters. Makes a huge difference. Jacob

  13. 7 speed stick or 8 speed auto?

    C7 Z06 - Grandstand
I chose the 7 speed manual on our 2017, primarily for the driving enjoyment. But changing out the OEM shifter to an MGW is a must in my book. I tolerated the OEM junk in my C6 Z06 but for some reason, the same shifter was much worse in the C7 car. The new shifter feels like a bolt action...

A look back in time to 2003; a pair of C5 Z06 cars on a photo shoot..... I still believe the C5 Z06 is one of Corvette's best looking cars. Jacob

  17. New Digs in Progress - A Tight Squeeze

    C7 Z06 - Grandstand
The Raptor is all about torque, with the twin turbo 213 cu motor producing about 2.4 ft lb per cu in, with a 4.10 rear axle and 10 speed auto. The LT4 Z motor is no slouch either at about 1.7 ft lb per cu in. The 2 vehicles seem to co-habit successfully.

  20. New Shock valving

    C7 Z06 - Grandstand
This new calibration may have saved me from buying the aftermarket mag ride controller from DSC Sport. But the active suspension advantages from DSC are well worth it.
