Well with unseasonably warm weather I pulled out Ole Yeller
and gave 'em a bath. Got back in to pull it back into the garage, and NO START! SOB!!! Well, tried to start it in gear out of gear, foot on the brake, foot on the clutch, foot on the brake and clutch, hand brake on, hand brake off, doors locked, doors unlocked with and without the key FOB, and every other combination of each. Then it starts!! Whoops, what combination was I using! I'm thinking I better read the owners manual again, maybe there IS a certain way to start this monkey! Any way, dry it off waxed it 4 or 5 times. Later in the day, I get in, fires right up! Take it for a spin to a friends house, shut it off, he's not there, tried to re-start, no go. Through my ritual of trying every fu#$*ng thing I can and it starts. What combination was THAT!? Back home, in the garage, shut it down and try to restart, YOU GUESSED IT, NADA! No column message on the DIC, just nothing. ANY THOUGHTS? MR C4C5 Specialist, you reading this?
Got an appointment with the Oldest Chevy dealer in town with 2 Corvette techs next Wednesday. Service writer said "it sounds electrical" No F*^&%n Joke!  :puke:

Codes please

Hi there,
Please extract codes from the PCM, and the BCM. You should have something there. I will check the database, and see what I find.
Please keep us posted, as to your progress. c4c5

Maybe heat related or.......

Went out after a couple hours and it starts. Could this be heat
related or some kind of failure of subsequent starts following the initial start-up???:-?

Oh WOW, I just noticed 52 posts, I'm a MEMBER NOW!!! Yippeeee!

I'm assuming you know that the clutch has to be pretty much on the floor before it'll crank? If so, I don't mean to offend ... just trying to examine all the possibilities, starting with the simplest.

Thanks Jerry

That MAY have been the problem!! I will specifically make sure I do that the next time I drive it. I'm working today! When it happened to me the other day, panic set in and I scatter blasted the thing with every combo I knew of.
Thanks for the help, I'll keep you updated

Jerry was right!

It was driver error!
No codes, Tech looked at it anyway. Push it ALL the way to the floor does it:cheers:
