With the 02 Z06 being slated to run at 405hp I am wondering just exactly what is done to increase it? Since the pistons are going to be the same as the Z06 will the modifications be done to... the obviously lacking air intake system? Or the exhaust system? I even hypothesize that they lowballed what the 01 LS6 could put out and are raising the bar on it a little just on paper alone.

Thoughts anyone?

My thoughts would be:

Improved air filter.

Cam profile change.

Revised Valve Springs.

Revised Mass Air Flow Sensor.
