I just picked up a halltech stinger intake for my 2003. Removal of the factory went great, install was a little confusing because I didn't realize that this intake came with a c6 stick maf, and plug ready to just plug and go. I got everything hooked up, no lights nothing. Took it for a drive and all was well. Went to drive it yesterday and as soon as I started the car boom cel was on. Tried everything from Re learn to clearing with a code reader to taking it all off and Re installing Re tighten all clamps. Scratching my head on this one? Anyone have ideas?

If your saying you replaced the 2003 round 850 mm MAF with small one for a C6 ?

If so that will NOT work as is, for 1 the MAF output frequencies of the 2 are not the same scaling of the MAF tables in PCM.

Second this will have a ill effect on commanded fuel and other tables as C5s have a 1 MAF table where C6s use 2 tables

Using as it will long term cause engine to run way too lean or rich depending on TPS angle, engine torque, load and RPM
