I just recently purchased this 98 C5 custom airbrushed by Richard Markham and while searching the net have come across links with pictures of it on your forum.

I was wondering if any of the Corvette aficionados on here recognize or know of any history of the vehicle?

I have sent an inquiry to Mr. Markham himself and awaiting reply.
It appears on the cover of many of his teaching videos.

The first 2 images I found here on the forum in an existing thread from 2006.
The last 3 are current pictures. The custom airbrush work has seemingly held up pretty well for at least 8 years (if it was done around 2006)

Any help with any info would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance !

A person really has to like 'bling' to appreciate this car I guess.

Good luck with your search.

Mike

Heh, I am agreement with you 110%

The reason I inquire is to see if I am about to wreck anything that should remain in tact.

I plan to return it to regular hinges and repainting the entire vehicle black getting rid of ALL the airbrush work.

Not that it's a value issue about the airbrush job, but sometimes things have importance beyond $$$. I see the Vette is on the cover of a lot of his instructional videos and looks like it might have even been his personal car that toured a show circuit with him?

Hoping to find something out before I repaint it.

Thanks for the replies so far.:thumb:
