I've seen several places that state the sale price for a 2002 Z06 is $50,000 - $51,000. A Chevy dealer told me the actual sale price would be $55,435 regardless of what is posted elsewhere because of increased vehicle demand. Does anyone have any insight to this price? If I purchased, would I be getting taken???

Run, Run, Run, away as fast as you can from that dealer.

The MSRP for my EB Z06 with everything except BSM is $50,435.00. The dealer is adding a $5,000 up charge.

You can use www.kbb.com, Kelly Blue Book site to get the invoice and MSRP on 2002 corvette's.

There is no reason for you to pay over MSRP. There are plenty of supporting dealers at Corvette Forum that are either discounting or selling for MSRP.

What part of the country are you in? In CA that seems to be the typical dealer mark-up. I bought mine out of state @ 1k off msrp with tpw 7/30, but found a local willing to do msrp on 8/6 tpw car.

2003.....Does that total reflect destination charges of $645?

Zman, Yes it does the breakdown is this.

MSRP $49,505.00
Options AAB,DDO,V49 $ 285.00
Dest Charge $ 645.00
Total $50,435.00

But I am glad that I paid much, much less than that /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif Also take into consideration that dealer gets 3% Hold Back from GM on MSRP as profit.
