I've a few questions. I've noticed that with the car idling in neutral
there is a very noticable rattle/knocking noise that goes away when the clutch is pushed to the floor, is this cosidered normal? it's very loud to me? another thing I'm wondering about is driving along doing about 60--70 mph I notice a driveline whril sound when only pushing the clutch in, it's fine while cruiseing at steady speeds? and finally at what rpm's do you shift at for 1/4 mile runs? Thanks in advance :)

The 'marbles in a can' sound at idle is normal. As far as 1/4 mile info, someone else will have to answer that !

Unfortunately the noises you describe are a common problem.

Do a search for comments by Ranger for all of your 1/4 mile questions. He addresses them all.
