There has been some question as to whether a "battery tender" can or should be used on the new Z06 AGM battery.
This subject was recently covered in the automotive section of the Chicago Tribune. The answer is yes, it can, and is "the perferred way to keep you new Vette battery up to snuff"

There is a company that specializes in chargers/tenders. They had a model just for the AGM. I believe it was Deltran Co. Was going to get one, but my Z06 has started fine even after sitting three weeks.
