Ok, I'm going to be dropping my 01 in a few weeks and wanted to ask a few things. I'm only taking her as far down as I can with no modifications - no I'm not one of those people that insists on all stock, I just live where there are lots of rough roads and don't want to go to far down.

question time:

What do you guys use to measure the camber on the back wheels? I've got a Longacre C/C gauge with the Dunlop adapter (presses up to the outer edge of the wheel) but its only good for up to 17" wheels. Now I know I could make some mods to it and get it working for 18" wheels, but I wanted to know what you guys are doing.

Will lowering the car 1/2" or so make a noticable difference in the handling? I don't give a shit about ride quality, but I want to know if I'll feel it at all.

I guess thats it (wow, somehow I thought I had more questions).

Thanks

Mgarfias,
I have lowered several C-5's including my Z06.
You will not notice any difference in handling (unless you want to).
I think you know what I mean here.

I also have a camber gauge but different brand.
Mine only measures up to 16". I just move the measuring points over either direction from the top of the wheel until it lines up.
The camber angle is the same as long as the gauge is vertical.
My Z, when lowered 1 1/4", only changed .4 degrees camber(negative) at each corner.
