A question for those in the know....
I read a post somewhere that a person claimed that the rear brake caliper is very close to the 19" wheel. Does this mean that we cannot run 18" rears. If this is true it's going to ruin my track setup plan.

Hoping for some good news here.

im NOT in the know. But what i do know is that the rear brakes on the z are the same as the front brakes on the c6 (i think)

That being said the rims on the front of the c6 are 18s so i dont see why it wouldnt work.

well if you go by my logic 18's should be fine. heres why.

the front wheels are 6 piston calipers (HUGE) with big ole discs, and theyre 18"

why shouldnt 18's fit on the rear with their "puny" 4 piston calipers? makes sense yah? :drunken:

Howdy!

I'm asking in another thread about the offset/backspace of the new Z06 wheels - trying to determine what aftermarket is available for upgraded street/show wheels _and_ track wheels. I suspect someone like John @ CCW can make just about anything, but I'm curious about what fitments might work right now.
