Just saw this on page 6 of the Summer 2001 Corvette Quarterly:

Now THAT is what we like to hear, especially any '01 owners that are buying into the "crap" about the '02 vs the '01. Puuuhhleeeezz... ALL Zs are AMAZING rides... enjoy them! I have NEVER had more fun with* a car since 1962 (when I first was legal to drive), and in 36 cars I've owned over the years. This is the "FREE BEER" of cars!! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
