The guy even lists it as a 2002. If your going to put 50k into a fake, why not buy the real deal?
It met reserve last time. I am guessing the winning bidder thought he had a Z. THAT would be embarassing (for the bidder).

The key to look for on that page is "reserve not yet met".. I could put up my Z06 for $10, set the reserve at $48,000 - and that doesn't mean the prices are low. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I think GM needs to give the real Z06 owners something unique that they won't sell retail and that is Trademarked GM. After all, it is supposed to be a special vehicle isn't it?????? C'mon, just a little sum'm-sum'm for the boys, and girl(s)?

On the other hand, it will start "stiring the pot" when it comes to conversation, "is that a real Z06?" Unless people know the VIN's, it's going to be hard to prove. Although, there is the cool ass cover on my owner's manual, and Z06 pen! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It'll be tough to fake the year on the title though. Isee no problem with look alikes as long as someone doesn't try to mislead someone into getting something they're not. I saw a 57 Bel Air with chrome Z06 wheels on it. When people start copying something, that's the sincerest form of flatulence, right?? /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I think Z06 prices will recover as soon as the unsold stock works it's way out of the system.
