Hi folks,

just got my kwik load. I have faring on the front of it. My problem is that I am having trouble pulling it up. I pull as far up to the faring as possible(my front tires are about 6 inches behind the front D rings in the trailer floor)

when I pull forward, the whole trailer moves! the only way I can make it work is to put wheel chocks under each of the front trailer wheels on each side. It then comes up.

So what am I doing wrong? I have the car as far forward as possible to ensure there is minimal weight on the rear. I have tried it on two different surfaces(concrete and ashpalt) with the same results.

I can continue to use the chocks, it's just a pain. I paid extra $ to get the sloan because it was advertised as no muss, no fuss. I really like the operation of it except for this issue.

any thoughts?????

I figured it out. Set my brake controller on manual for full 13 volts to trailer brakes to ensure wheels won't budge. Car pulls up fine, even from the back end..

This a note for anyone else who experiences this type of problem.

thanks.
