The 2019 Corvette ZR1 has made its official debut – marking the arrival of the fastest, most powerful production Chevrolet to date.

The ZR1 is powered by a new supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine dubbed LT5, which is good for 755 horsepower and 715 lb-ft of torque. Compared to the 650 hp LT4 engine in the Z06, the LT5 has 52 percent larger supercharger, a more efficient intercooler system and a dual-injection system with both direct and port injection. Unlike the C6 ZR1, which could only be ordered with a 6-speed manual, this new model will be available with both a seven-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Chevy also says it will do 210 mph.

I think the wing is hideous. The only way I could drive that is as a dedicated track vehicle. It reminds me of an oversized ricer. If you want that horsepower and torque send your Z06 to Callaway.:|

It's also available without the Tall wing. You get the Stage 3 spolier and wicker bill from the Z06 optioned Z07 package.

I didn't know that. All the pics I've seen so far have the big wing. I'd take the aero package on my 2017 Z06 with the Z07 package but at a sticker on my current Z over $100,000, I think I'm all in on what I've got.

That car is just plain sick. Considering the cost, it is one heck of a deal. I hope they are successful at busting the 7 minute production car record at the ring.
No doubt, that would be nice!!

It makes for an impressive dyno sheet if you do a dyno run but aside from that 755 HP is mostly unusable for 99% of normal driving trying to get it all hooked up.

Been there done that. :smile2:
