If you are going to a drivers school, you might want to reconsider and drive the Z06. You will have instructors there to help you understand both the cars acceleration and suspension. Why learn on the Camaro, with its solid rear axle and front heavy dynamics then switch to the vette.
Also, in Indiana, the Fort Wayne Corvette Club is pretty active. In fact, Grissom AFB is not that far and several clubs have events there throughout the year. The put on two events, one is a smaller lot and the other is on the old jet pad.
