Basic Z06 upgrade questions

Again, I am interested in the Z06 and may be picking one up in the next 3-12 months. What are the basic upgrades that most people do on the Z06? I am interested in learning about intake, manifold, headers, and exhaust upgrades for the Z06. Also, it would appreciated if anyone could point me to the information that shows RWHP numbers for stock Z06's versus those with the aforementioned upgrades. Thanks again.

Hi, actually I am a student at Wharton (upenn). I'm currently in Florida for the summer and will be back up in Philly in the fall. I live near 40th and Locust. If you don't see me up there with a Z, you'll find me in an '00 M coupe.

Are there any real benefits then of switching the exhaust? I read that the exhaust system of the Z06 is extremely light (i.e. titanium) and is free-flowing. It also seems to me that the LS6 engine is very similar to the LS1 engine, and it is basically the product of better aspiration throughout the engine.

Knowing that the Z06 was specifically designed for the enthusiast, I would be very suspect of any upgrades that add significant value to the car itself.

Do most of you focus on performance-oriented upgrades, cosmetic, or utilitarian upgrades?
