I know they said on the intro video that the sound while shifting from 1st to 2nd is expected but I have never heard EXACTLY what is causing it or if can be dampened/eliminated. I thought it was happening a little at idle the other day.........maybe. My hearing is not the best and I am now used to it after 2000 miles but would just like to understand what makes the sound. Has anybody done away with it through a mod?

Maybe my ears are worse than yours, But I havn't noticed the sound.

Yes I have noticed it while shifting out of 1st, but it is not very loud and is short lived. Nothing in neutral at idle.

I've got it too. Glad to read this topic. I couldn't put my finger on... Definately transient exaust system vibration/rattle...
