I agree ... they are the same design as the stock units, and GM uses the 42# unit on the Superchared 3.8 V6 motors.
As far as the SVO's go I would caution against them if you do DE road course events. The SVO's are slightly longer than the stock units, and at Road Atlanta I had an injector overheat and fail, causing detonation and a failure in the piston. Good news is that it was a good excuse to build my forged 383. When my engine builder inspected the fuel rails you could acutally see that the SVO's were rubbing against the far side of the rail. He believes the reduced fuel flow around the injector caused it to get hot. This would not have been an issue on the street or drag racing, but it did surface on a road course.
I have run SVO's in my cars before, zero problems, but there is a first time for everything.
