Allright, I wanna order my headers ASAP (yes, the bug has officially crawled up my arse.) I hit the corvetteforum mall, as well as TPIS's website.. everyone seems to be the same price of $895 (for the coated ones.) Are there any places running specials before I order them straight from TPIS? Or is there maybe a 'preferred' vendor even if the price is the same?

According to the TPIS page, it says "H-pipe included"... I take it that if I use this H-pipe, it will eliminate all the cats and connect to the stock cat-back?

Thanks... replies asap are super-appreciated (you know how it is when you decide you wanna buy more parts for your toy!) /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Jim, I have these headers and for the best price get a hold of Nate at Xtreme, he is away in Arizona at this time but try him next week. The TPIS headers get rid of the pre cats and their "H" pipe fits on the collectors of the headers and then the main cats are welded to the "H" pipe. I am going to put these headers on my new Z06 with that new engine we will be building, I like these headers because they use 1 3/4" tubing which is betting for the high rpms.

Well I don't plan to do any HEAVY mods. Headers, intake, *maybe* a cat back (only if I don't like how the car sounds with the headers and stock Ti system.) Already did a Ripper shifter. Other than that, the car will probably stay stock.

I'm considering getting some myself. Would this be a warrenty killer? Trying to find upgrades that won't effect warrenty (GM or extended). I don't want to have to pay for a bad trans or rear because I put headers on or altered my airbox!

My dealer has no problem with bolt on mods, I think you will find this true at most dealers but I would ask the question at the dealers service dept if you have an dought. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
