I use an old ugly set of 16" x 8" 5-spoke F-bod rims that I used on my SS. You have to do some grinding around the upper ball joint to get them to fit. It sounds worse than it is. I used a file and only took off the bare minimum to get clearance. Took a couple of hours for each side. This was done over a year ago and have gone nearly 20K miles, have done a track day at Sebring and several Autox events with no problems.

I have a set of the new MT ET Street Radials 255-50-16 and while it looks like hell, I can out 60' guys on 305-45-18 Nittos all day cause the 16s have alot more sidewall. I consistently pull low 1.7s with a quick slip off the line. I drive it back and forth to the track 20 miles one way at highway speeds with no problems :jammin:

I would buy a set of Weld Pro Stars with ET steets. They are 16 inch and require no grinding.

From what I understand Weld does not make a proper wheel (offset) for our C5.

If you have different info from Pro Star, please advise.
