Yea Dave, seeing screens would've been nicer, but since the light was directly from the side, the screens disapeared. I just posted one that REALLY shows the screens in a new topic.
I will submit it for the CF calendar, good idea.
Anybody who wants a full size verion, state size and e-mail me.
If you want to try that shot again to get some light on the screens, try using fill flash (about 2 stops under ambient light) or have a friend along to hold a reflector (big piece of white foam core will work) to bounce some light onto the front of the car. Of the two, I prefer the reflector since it's using natural light. However, neither will look "real" as the light is actually coming from the side of thecar.
Good luck!

Well, my best ever. I shot it right at sunset with a 75-150 zoom lens (at 150). It looks like a catalog shot. I comressed it to make it a smaller file, hope it still looks sharp. Telephoto lenses are great for car shots because they make the background nice and soft and emphasize the car's lines more.
That is by far one of the best views/images of the Z-06 I have seen. To make it perfect though, I think the Z-06 Screens in the front, should have shown a bit more. Don't know how you would do it, but it looks like an empty void there, instead of the beatiful screen mesh.
Peace,
