BLACK BOXES ON ALL Z'S

Mr. Goodwrench tells me I have a "black box" on my Z!!!!! If you crash, it tells all....Does anyone know where the black box is located and can it be removed??

I've read this is part of the ODBII system and all new cars have them to track air bags.
