I am ordering an 02' Corvette Z06, as most members on this forum already know, but, I am extremely interested in the C6 Z06?

I want to know your opinions on the resale value of the 02' in 04', when the C6 is supposedly coming out.

I love the C5 Corvette styling but I want to have the updated stylings of the C6 when it comes out. The increased HP and, if the rumors are true, fixed and flush-mounted HID headlights are the two key element in my decision.

How do you think C4 owners felt in 96'?

Tough decision though, but I do not want to wait until 03' to purchase the 04' C6 Z06, the wait for the 02' Z06 is already killing me. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_frown.gif

If your specifically interested in the C-6 Z06, it may not be available in 04 if the rumor mill is accurate. The C-6 Z06 may not be introduced for 1 - 2 years later in 05 or 06. That may be longer of a wait than most of us can handle. It may also help shore up C-5 Z06 resale values if they stop producing the Z06 for a couple of years.

Now if the C-6 Coupe and Verts come out of the box with 400 HP that changes everything!

I am ordering a 2002 Z right now. In 4 years I will get a Z06/L88/L7 etc. in 2006.

(or, please don't flame me, a 2006 GTS Viper)

I feel like the 2002 Z is the pinacle of the C5 design. Not sure how they will get 20hp more for 03 but I think I will be happy with my 405.

Frankly, I don't give a damn! I've enjoyed all my C5 Vettes and will continue to do so as long as GM keeps pumping out good exciting product regardless of the model year! If the C6 "turns my crank" I'll get one. I refuse to wait or be without a fast Vette at this time or anytime in the near future unless personal reasons dictate otherwise.JMHO, no flames intended,FUBU69/LES

Last time, somebody hinted or said that the C6 was already built. Is this true?

As much as I would like to tell you and all who my sources are I cannot. There have been promises made and I am a man of my word and I hope you can understand that.

When they first tested the C5 it was hidden under an F body so who's to say that the C5 driving on the road next to you is not a C6 underneath. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif
