Help did the CAGS with a resistor..later that day got a check engine. reset computer over night...check engine is back. seems to run perfect. coincidence or ?? any ideas would be great.....
Hi,
Did the CAGS last Friday night after bring my new Z home from the dealer. Have had no problems. Used a 2.2k 1/2 watt resister and tape to seal from water and dirt. The one thing I have noticed or at least I think I have is that the shift 1 to 4 lite doesn't come on as often, but that could just be my shifting habits.
Hi there,
I agree that there is something else there, as this would cause a class b code, and it would not turn on the light.
Retrieve codes, and let me know what you have, best to ya, c4c5
Hello I appreciate the help! Here are the codes I got 10 pcm 1 code p0803c ao ldcm 1 code; 28 tcs 2 codes; 40 bcm 1 code; 58 sdm 1 code; 60 ipc 1 code; 80 1 code; ao ldcm 1 code; a1 rdcm 1 code; a6 scm 1 code....I reset all went for a hard drive no check engine...when i checked again the 10 pcm code was there p0803c....Its all greek to me.....
P0803 is the 1-4 Upshift Solenoid Control Circuit, C4C5 may know more about this but I would disconnect the CAGS device and drive it for a few days, you may have a bad unit.
Hi there,
Hcvone is right there, however, I think that the code that turned on your light is not there any more. Give me the TCS codes, as I feel that this may have something to do with it.
Let me know, c4c5
