As said list the code and then we can tell you if that's the problem.
CAGS DEFEAT + CHECK ENGINE

Help did the CAGS with a resistor..later that day got a check engine. reset computer over night...check engine is back. seems to run perfect. coincidence or ?? any ideas would be great.....

P0803 is the 1-4 Upshift Solenoid Control Circuit, C4C5 may know more about this but I would disconnect the CAGS device and drive it for a few days, you may have a bad unit.
