When installing a CAGS defeat unit, which connection do you detach from the left side of the transmission. The lower one which is black in color or the upper one which is grey in color.

The easiest way is to keep the right foot into it. I have never had the 1 to 4 shift thingy happen. Ya gotta drive these muthas...!

If memory servers me correctly it is the gray upper one. I believe the lower one is the reverse lock out sensor.

The top grey one, it's a little hard to ride
the loud pedal in heavy traffic!

Thanks for the help. I thought it was the grey top one. You gentlemen on this forum are great, you really know everything about the Z06. I have used the error codes (obtained via this and another forum) on the DIC to diagnose a false idiot light notice.
