Rocker-ratio intake: 1.80:1

Rocker-ratio exhaust: 1.80:1

Degrees Duration:

At camshaft: Intake: 0.331 in. Exhaust: 0.328 in.

At valve: Intake: 0.593 in. Exhaust: 0.588 in

You did not post the duration, only the lift at the lobe, and the lift multiplied by the rocker-arm ratio.

Who is going to pay over $70K (base of $65,800) plus options plus tax and then tear the engine apart to put in a decent high performance cam and AFR 225 heads?!? :screwy: I also hear the exhaust sounds tame...more mod $$$$$$'s. :roll: I must be confused. :-?

You are. LS7 heads are much stronger than AFR225s. However, were emissions laws allow, many will probably add headers and change the cam. Eventually, some will change the intake. Prepared versions of the head will come out. And prepped shortblock, built to tighter tolerances and using forged pistons, will come out.

To some, a $70k Z06 is a financial stress. Or a factory hot rod that will pass emissions with 500hp. And to others it is a better platform to build on.
