Hey guys/gals how do you figure the build date? Can you do this with the last 4 digits of the VIN? mine are 5006. Just got back from a trip to Charlotte NC. A good friend of mine with a 95 cobra w/a t-trim and a 351 was very impressed. really impressed when he could do anything but pull a half of a fender on me from 60-???. Hes dynoed 450 to the wheels. It suprised me because I helped build the car.LOL he ran 11.30s I kinda snookered him.

C5 Registry has the breakdown and can tell you your build date. I am a member. so if you send me your VIN, I will look it up for you.

Thanks for the info. I guess it got to the dealer around oct.? when was the first one built? Mabey June? Im just curious, for giggles. thanks for the info again.

Don't know about the first Z06, but the first 2001 C5 was built on Thursday, June 23rd, 2000.
