This winter my CD player has started to skip pretty badly. If it's really warm out it wont do it at all. After driving the car for about 20 minutes it'll skip less and less until it works fine. I've tried multiple new CD's literally out of the plastic (i hate that plastic). Any suggestions? I so don't have the time to bring it to the dealer so if there's any ideas I'd really appreciate it.

thanks

You might try picking up a CD lense cleaner. It may help.
It's just a blank CD with a little brush on it to clean the lense in the player.

This was happening to my on an aftermarket radio I had, it had to be replaced. When its cold the lens on the CD player gets fogged up. This is the reason that it doesn't skip when it warms up.

there's no way to really prevent that. If you plan on replacing the CD player, you might as well get an aftermarket HU
