some months ago i received a survey from chevy. wanted to know if i had complaints about my z.told them i did not like the fit of the trunk lid between the back edge and the rear fascia.
well a lady called wanted to know more about the problem(fascia is higher than the back edge of trunk lid) also asked anyother problems ? told her the sound system should sound better (got the same radio in my 99 jimmy) sounds much better, asked if i thought it was the speakers i said ether that or maybe accustics
she then thanked me and would give the info to engeneering .
it looks like they are following up on complaints hopefuly we will see a better vette roll of the assy line

high test - It's good to hear about the follow up. I've filled out 3 surveys so far and have had no call backs. Maybe my complaints were so minor, they so no reason to call back. I also made a comment about the sound system being average.

3 surveys? For the same car or have you had more than 1 Corvette?

I filled out the survey when I first got the car and gave all 100s cause there really wasnt much wrong with a car with less than a couple of hundred miles. Also, I was helping the saleslady since they get a little bonus if it is returned perfect.

Now I wish I had another survey cause I can mention a couple of things.

don527 - Yes 3 surveys for the same 2001 Z06. Only one was from GM. The other 2 were J.D. Power and some other independant company. The latter 2 were very extensive and the last got into preferences and use of vehicle questions.

Thanks for reminding me about the JD Powers survey. I've been waiting to fill that out cause I wanted to give the dealer to do things right but I'm gonna fill it out, mention by issues and see if anything comes of it.

I personally don't think GM sees the JD ones, they respond to the GM surveys... but better than not filling it out.

THEY ARE TRYING-- I HAVE HAD 3 SEPARATED CALLS ABOUT THE CONDITION(OR LACK OF) OF THE EXTERIOR PAINT AS DELIVERED---I BELIEVE IT MIGHT HAVE HELPED--IN OCT. SEVERAL OF THE PAINT SHOP PERSOANL WHERE REPLACED AT BG.
