More of a nuisance question, but when I start the car up (my new '02), the AC defaults into the outside air being circulated, vs. the interior air being recirculated. I stored the inside air on Memory buttons, but the car always begins in the outside air mode, which is a pain, as it is not the way I want to cool off the car.

Am I not programming the memory correctly or is this just a feature in the AC system you can't defeat?

Hi there,
Well, as long as you are setting the AC, and then holding the memory button, until the yellow led flashes, you should be fine.
If this still does NOT work, attempt to get codes from the DIC.
Specifically, the HVAC, and the LDCM.
Let us know what you get, c4c5
