Ok I had a new clutch, master and slave installed (9000 miles). It took the mechanic 4 days to finish the job, I am in United Kingdom not many vetts. GM paid the bill. When the clutch was removed one of the little tabs was broken off the backside of the pressure plate. Here is my question---with the car in neutral and you rev the engine on the way back down, about 2500 rpm's, you feel a little shutter throughout the car. I also notice while driving 1 thru 4 the shifter vibrates a lot more. The flywheel was turned so should I give it time to break in?:-?

WHAT?

I have to admit, this sounds very wierd. When GM sends a clutch, it comes with the flywheel.
You are told NEVER to resurface the flywheel.
And, the balancing pins have to be installed in the exact same location. The whole assembly is balanced to .25 ounce. Being that the clutch pressure plate, and flywheel, are not matched, therein is your vibration.
I dont know who did this, but it is wrong.
Sorry for the bad news, c4c5
