If it happened May 28, it was not on a Z. How many Z owners have had problems with the column lock?

Let me clarify, I drive a 2000 Coupe and it still happens on '01 6 speeds. Mine occurred 5/28/00. The auto '01's don't have the feature, the 6 spds do.

Since the '01's, I haven't seen as many, but, it's not as hot ths time of year, summer usually brings more occurrences. Mine was on a hot day in Louisville before the Forum's Cruise-In. Talk about bad timing

One of my Zaino customers that lives about 15 minutes from me had his Z06 column lock on him about 3 weeks ago, he was over my house last Tuesday.

I was washing my car about a month ago when this woman walked up to me and asked how I liked it. I of course told her that I loooooooved it. She proceded to tell me a story of 3 yes 3 times that her and her husbands Z had locked up and had to be towed. She informed me that they had taken it to the dealer and traded it. I was amazed to say the least.
