I talked to the adjuster today and passed that information on to them.

Even though the insurance is paying for all of the repair, and this body shop has done a lot of work for me over the many years, when the insurance company gets ripped off, my insurance premiums go up. I am going to pass along a copy of your post to the body shop too.

So thanks Frank

I checked into getting a set of wheels from the gmpartsdirect.com for my Z06 today. When I went to purchase, they had a $234.00 shipping and Handling fee. Plus, they add sales tax to all shippments. I checked with Mid America to see what their shipping and handling fee would be for a set of four wheels. That fee was $34.00 total. Their making $200.00 of the handling. If you have any ties with a GM dealer, you can get a set at whole sale and just pay a few dollars more.

One other point. I ran all the part numbers the were brought up. The ones that your estimate people had were all 18 inch wheels. My money says that the 1K wheel is the Mag. wheel for the regular C5. Just trying to get you one the road. Good luck.

I ran them all too at the site Frank recommended. I was puzzled, but I will go and talk to them on Monday with all of the info I have. THere is just something wrong with the bodyshop's info on these rims, and I don't want to get the wrong rims in, which will delay the process. Thanks again to everyone.
