Great news..glad for you!

My salesman called today to inform me that the dealership received allocation for 5 Z-06's today....But they can not get any Electron Blue orders placed yet. I told him I prefer to wait until E-blue is available.

Has anyone received word from their dealer that e-blue is available yet?

Tried to call you after I left the dealer but the line was busy. My dealer (you know the one - shhhh) has allocations for TWO EB's....they ordered one for me and one for stock. You might want to give Ray a call over there and get hooked up! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Also, the only options I was offered are Memory, Elect Mirror, and BSM's. Still no pricing.

My dealer got his allocation as well...3 Z06's allocated in the first go around. And I'm first in line.
WOO HOO looks like a late July delivery...I can only hope!
By the way the dealer I go through is Bachman Chevrolet in Lousiville Kentucky, the fellow I bought mine from is Jim Kucsun. As of last week the other 2 were not spoken for...and he sells at sticker.

Lambinator: Thanks for the tip.....I did call there Thursday night, but was unable to reach Ray. I am in Traverse City, Michigan right now because my father in law had a heart attack last night and for right now, my wife and I are tending to this situation. Good news, is that he had a "shunt" installed and should be released to go home Sunday.

Those of you who have a confirmed order for an Electron Blue are very, very fortunate!
The C5 Registry reports that Chevrolet has a constraint on Electron Blue. This simply means a low percentage of early 2002 Z06's are going to be E-blue. As much as I support Chevrolet, (bought a new '84, '99, 2000, 2001, and now awaiting an E-blue '02 Z06) I can NOT understand why the paying customer can NOT SPECIFY what they want on ordering a new Corvette!!!!! No, the factory says we are ONLY going to make X number of Yellow Vets, only X number of Mag Red Vets, and now, only X number of E-Blue Vets! What's wrong with this picture? Hello?

ARRRRRRRRRGH!! The plot thickens. My dealer also called me today saying he had his first Z06 allocation and it was mine! BUT, always BUT, there are no Z06 order codes in the computer and therefore no way to order the options, color and interior I want. The order has to be confirmed by next Tuesday. If the codes aren't there then, the order becomes a stock order and GM builds whatever they want to and sends it to the dealer. I declined to take whatever the factory builds and sends. So I have a sold order in the computer, I'm number one on the list for a 2002 Z06, the dealer has an allocation, BUT we can't order my car because there are no Z06 order codes in the *@%$#@ GM computer. Sorry, that wasn't very ladylike, but I have never worked this hard in my life trying to spend my money to buy a car. Your dealer might not have the codes, but some dealers do. Don't give up, the deadline is Tuesday evening I think, so you still have hope for Tuesday during the day to get things worked out.
