That depends... It will change railroads as it crosses the country. Each railroad doesn't go anywhere. Do you have a car number? If so post it and I'll track it for you. I just happen to work for a company that tracks rail cars across almost all railroads. :)

Hi,

My Z was shipped via CSX, 877 752 2706. I gave them the rail car number and they were able to track it. I'm not sure if they also ship the cars heading out west. Good luck!

Corvettes are trucked from Bowling Green to the Nashville area Saturn Plant where they are put on rail cars. I'm sure the rail cars get passed from one railroad company to another. It's not like the trucking contract with one company (Allied) nationwide.

All your dealer has to do is call the GM dealer business center and they can give him the rail car number. And the rail company used....
