1st trip to a drag strip here in England. The track seemed very slick. The temp outside was only 40 degrees, I am sure that didn't help. My best time was 12.877 at 111.70. My worst time was 14.123 at 107.53. Such a big difference. I am going to wait till it warms up. An older Skyline showed up and ran 12.5. Most of the other cars where16-18 et.

yes it was Santa Pod not a very good track most of the road leading to it was not even paved.

If you think Santa Pod is bad, you better not go to York Dragway!

It's a real shithole! No really, it's on the site of a pig farm!!! On a bad day, you can smell your way to the strip.

Yet another reason we moved to the good old USA!
