I was going to post this yesterday, but to be honest - I could not get into it. I live in the Washington D.C. area, and the whole past couple of days will never be forgotten. Tuesday night we watched Air Force 1 with its four fighter escort fly over our home shortly before landing at Andrews Air Force base. We will also not forget that we lost at least one good friend at the Pentagon. We have a lot of Army friends since I wore the uniform and worked for the Army as a civilian for a few years. It's been 23 years since i took off the uniform, but if they called this old guy, I would go in a heartbeat.

But, I digress. The dyno test session is still on for 9/22, starting at 8 A.M. when my EB will be on the rollers. I think BADASSZ06 is still planning to test also. Each session will consist of three pulls on a Dynojet 248, for $75. Figure approximately one hour for each car. I hope to see some of you there. Of course, if there is heavy rain that day, we will reschedule. My wife and I will be leaving for Ocean City for a few days later on Sat., so I will be offline from then until later on 9/19.

If you are interested, I would like to know, but please contact John Sealock at (540) 752-1600. You can also access their website at http://www.woodbridgedynotech.com. The shop is located off of I 95 Exit 143b (Garrisonville exit). More complete directions are located on their website, or can be obtained by calling John Sealock.

This stuff seems kinda trivial right now, but perhaps it is a good thing to do to take a break from all of the pain we are feeling at this point. Ya know, when I look at the power and beauty of my Z, I think about the kind of people who can conceive and build such a bold statement and it reminds me of how proud I am to be an American.

My prayers to all of you who have lost a loved one....
