I was quoted $350 + $100/hr for the dyno by a local tuner. Does this seem about right? They will adjust the fuel curves, timing, cags, fans, etc. Is there anything else specific I should ask them to do? I have a 2003 with LG longtubes, no cats, and borla stingers. I'm also going to get a quote for a h/c install.

thanks

That is very comparable to our local pricing, however they don't charge the extra dyno time. The cost is built into the cost of tuning.

Sounds about typical. My tuner does additional sessions for new mods or whatever at a fixed hourly rate after the initial session. You might try to arrange that.

Ask if they can give you flat fee quote for the dyno tune. Then you'd have to ask how much for additional tuning after the initial tune.

My recent tune included all the above with 5 Pulls to get things just right. It ended up being about what you quoted. Seems like a good deal to me :)

Some tuners offer free re tunes if you make additional Mods. Ask your tuner about that option
