Went to Breathless today and dynoed my car on their Mustang Dyno to finally get a baseline. Lot's of fun.

I ended up with a best of 3 runs:
max power: 332.2 @ 5800 rpm
max torque: 336.4 @ 4550 rpm

My Z is completely stock with 2000 miles.

We should get a dyno list going. with mods listed and such. I think it would be a good tool. Be good if we could integrate it with 1/4 mile times. I hope to get to Moroso soon /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Cool article!

But what does that have to do with my recommendation of putting up a dyno chart so that members can submit their syno numbers?

I understand the differences in dyno types and even dyno numbers from one dyno to another. But putting up a chart at least give a people an idea of what other members are making with what mods and, IMO, still better than nothing.

Don527,

Good dyno results. Yours is right about where mine was before I installed the Halltech Tric.

I agree that a dyno data base with mods list and 1/4 mile times would be useful. Guess the problem is who'd administer it. Our moderators have their hands full as it is.

So for now we are left with looking for signatures that include dyno numbers, mods and quarter mile times, Unforutnatesly, few folks include all three metrics. Those that do rarely indicate whether their numbers are SAE or raw and whether their times were on stock tires, drag radial or slicks.

The problem with this is we're out of space on the registry page. Plus, not a lot of ppl dyno their cars (as a whole) so there would be a lot of wasted space. In addition, there are a lot of varibles in these numbers. They would not be accurate by and large.

HOWEVER, if you want a seperate page for just dyno info, year of car, speed, etc, we can probably do that.

Any other thoughts?
