Got my DRM kits today, in time for weekend work. I like those guys but their directions could be better :( .

Maybe it'll be clearer when I get the Z up in the air.

One thing bothering me a bit though is how to make sure the coolers are filled with oil.

1) One needs to pre-fill, yes?
2) What ensures lack are air filled voids in the coolers - just pressure?

Pre-filling would be helpful, but not required. And yes, pressure will push the air out and through the lines.

Be careful the first time you start the motor. After I drain the lines I pull the line to the coils so the motor won't start and turn it over for about 5-10 seconds to let the pump push some oil through the lines. When you turn the key for the first time you'll watch the oil pressure gage with horror waiting for it to come up. It will come up.

Pre-fill the filter, that will help some.

After the initial fill, the lines will stay essentially full, even with an oil change. Some will drain out, but the lines will go up and down enough to trap most of the oil in them when you open the drain plug.
