Paintdog, I was trying to understand the price difference myself, but went with the Amber/Red anyway. I got mine from the Corvette Store, their wiring harness makes the install simple and they look great. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

We also sell them - click on the "www.c5store.com" banner at the bottom.

The price difference is due to GM charging WAY MORE for the red/amber lenses. Just about three times as much! I wish they didn't but there is nothing we can do about it.

Bought mine (Red/Clear to go with Quicksilver) from AutoBuffs. Nice people and they showed up 3 days after I ordered. The person I spoke to (I apologize that I can't remember her name) said that the price difference was a function of parts costs from GM, nothing else. Go figure. Anyway, install is simple, they look great and, I believe, they are functionally superior to the stock domestic tail lamps. Cool beans!

GM charges more for the lenses and for what reason we can only guess.
Give me a call or an email for pricing. We stock the complete kit, plug and play harness, bulbs and instructions.

RG [EXIT 28], Just installed the Red/Clear Euro rear lenses. They LOOK EXCELLENT! The quality of the lenses and harness are FIRST CLASS! I also installed the Z06 extra wide rolled exhaust plate. Awesome looking with the Corsas Pro Tips! Looking foward to the Mod Red Z06 Wet Okles. Thanks for the great products and service. FUBU69/LES BTW RG, I am going to purchase a set of HRE's for my incoming EB Z06. Contact me ASAP so we can discuss this. I need to order them by next week.

Want to order these, however, i read in the directions that the white wire needs to be cut at the fuse panel under the dash. What is the significance of cutting that wire? If I ever sell the car (for an '03 or new C6 only), are there any ramifications when reconnecting the stock wiring harness?
